Our Daily Prayers 

The Promise Prayer

I’m promising Dear Jesus to follow you today
and to obey your every rule in all I do and say,
to always be a loving child, helpful kind and sweet,
to give the love you give to me to everyone I meet.
But if this promise I shall break or if I bring you sorrow,
help me to begin again and keep my promise tomorrow.

Four, Three, Two, On

Count the weeks ‘til Jesus comes
Each week we add another light,
    Our hope for Jesus glowing bright,
        We pray.  We e.  We do our part,
    To welcome Jesus to our hearts.

Here comes Mary
Walking down the road 
So tired and weary.
 Knock, Knock, Knock
 Please open your door
 But the innkeeper says
 “No room for more.”
 So they walked and they walked
 And the walked all day
 Till they came to a stable
 And a bed of hay.
 There in that stable 
 On Christmas morn
 Jesus, the Son of God was born.
 Knock, Knock, Knock
I’ll open my door
and Jesus will stay with me

We say the following prayer in the a.m. followed by the Our Father.

Dear Jesus,
Let my eyes 
see good things today.
Let my mouth
talk happy today.
Let my ears
listen well today.
Let me
enjoy today.

We say the meal prayer, Bless Us, O Lord, at lunch.  
We say the following prayer at snack.

We thank the Lord
for happy hearts,
for rain and sunny weather.
We thank the Lord
for this our food,
and that we are together.

We say the following prayer at the end of the day.

Dear Jesus, 
We thank You for today... 
All the new things I learned 
and all the friends I made.
Thank You for my teachers 
and my family too.
I’m just so thankful
for all You do.
